Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

Recovery coaches work collaboratively with participants, their families, carers and other services to design, plan and implement a recovery plan.

They will assist participants with the coordination of NDIS and other supports to help them take more control of their lives.

Through relationships that support recovery and skilled coaching, people will be supported to build capacity, including strengths and resilience.

Recovery coaches will provide capacity building supports. They do not provide core type supports to complete activities of daily living and community, social and/or recreational activities.

The recovery coach line item is tailored to the needs of people with primary psychosocial disability, with a focus on coaching and collaborating with other services.

Recovery coaches at Collective Coordination can assist with:

  • Supporting the participant with planning their recovery.

  • Coaching to increase recovery skills and personal capacity, including but not limited to: motivation, strengths, resilience and decision-making ability.

  • Implementing NDIS plan and finding the right supports

  • Collaborating with other NDIS and mainstream supports to ensure services are recovery-oriented.

We are experienced clinical coordinators skilled in working with clients in strengths based and recovery framework.
